NuVision's recently completed eye center in midtown Manhattan takes a purposeful departure from conventional hospital room aesthetics. NuVision performs a suite of laser based procedures ranging from Lasik to velasmooth, to skin rejuvenation. Agencie Architects was the design-builder for this project, and leveraged NuVision's unique confluence between health and vanity to create a boutique spa atmosphere. Matthew Pruitt, Executive Director at NuVision put forth the idea that individuals at his out-patient facility could be cared for in an environment whose design sensibility communicates a commitment to technology, and celebrates visual perception as one of our greatest gifts. The simple result is a radical change from the majority of out-patient facilities in the City.
